We are hosting our Autism Moms Night Out Luncheon on April 25, 2021 from 3pm-5pm during Autism Awareness Month we honor some amazing mothers who are caring for their children and we are caring for them for a change. This year is monetary donations towards our location- Advocate for Me, LLC in West Philadelphia to begin programs for our inclusive program.

Our Keynote Speaker is Michele Abraham Montgomery-
Michele Abraham-Montgomery is a seasoned Child & Family Advocate having over 20 years of experience with the School District of Philadelphia. She attended Ashford University majoring in Psychology and completed the State requirements to achieve a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA). After learning that her son had been diagnosed with Autism she enrolled in a program to learn State and Federal laws for children with special needs. After successfully completing the course she began avidly supporting children and families as a certified advocate.
Michele is known for her expertise in developing a rapport with parents, schools and community organizations. She participated in the maturation of the Philadelphia Autism Project in 2014. She was also instrumental in selecting recipients to receive GRAAS Funds that would be used by Faith-Based organizations and/or Grassroots groups who proposed to educate and support the advancements of individuals impacted by autism. Michele actively identifies dilemmas, as well as enlightens and empowers parents, individuals, communities and organizations. She also helps school staff and administration with challenges and concerns identified with children diagnosed on the autism spectrum.
Michele is married and is the mother of two wonderful children. Her son, Khylil, is diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome and is a college graduate. Currently Michele and Khylil are the founders of a family support group called Spectrum Success 911. Her role as parent coach and advocate along with Khylil assisting with self-advocacy education will empower, educate, and provide resources for families impacted by autism. Michele’s goals are to successfully unite parents, schools and community organizations in a union that will develop into a beneficial and ongoing bond.
